Desert Lighthouse

Upon the breeze of shadowed night,

A man did roam without a light,

Through distant shores and winds unkind,

He sought a beacon none could find.

His weary eyes, they scanned the sky,

No star, no flame, no guide on high,

And in his heart, a longing grew,

For one to show him what to do.

No voice arose, no hand to lend,

No elder's wisdom to defend,

He walked alone in endless dark,

Without a mark, without a spark.

Yet in his silence, something stirred,

A truth too long within him blurred.

The light he sought from distant shore,

Was one he carried at his core.

Unseen to him, it ever burned,

A flame for those to whom he'd turned,

His kin, his blood, they saw it gleam,

While he, adrift, pursued a dream.

For in his heart, a lighthouse stood,

A tower strong, a force of good,

Unseen by him, but clear as day

To those who walked beside his way.

In that still moment, he awoke,

The chains of doubt and fear they broke,

No longer lost, he rose and found,

The light was in him, deep and sound.

From wanderer to leader made,

His path was clear, the shadows swayed,

For now he knew, in brightest glow,

'Twas he who made the dark winds go.

He lights the way for those he loves,

A beacon bright from skies above,

No longer searching foreign lands,

He guides them home with steady hands.

So now, no storm can shake his soul,

He knows his light, he knows his role,

For he, the lighthouse, stands upright,

To lead his family through the night.
